Benoit N. Boyer, Professor of Accounting, received his Ph.D. from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). He was the Chair of the Accounting Department from 1997-2011.

His teaching experience includes, Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting. Dr. Boyer is the author of numerous journal articles and made many presentations at conferences. 

Dr. Boyer was also the founding Dean of the College of Business at Sacred Heart University and is a member of the American Accounting Association, and various community organizations.
