Course Withdrawal

Official withdrawal is necessary to assure proper entry on the transcript and to issue any refund(s).

Course withdrawals are permitted within the first five weeks of a semester or trimester without penalty (grade of W [“Withdrawal”] is issued). After the end of the fifth week of the semester or trimester, the withdrawing student could receive a grade of WF (“Withdrawal Failure”), which carries a penalty. The student may withdraw without penalty (grade of W or “Withdrawal”) only with the approval from the instructor, program director and registrar. A student’s failure to properly withdraw will result in the issuance of a WF (“Withdrawal Failure”) grade. Phone or fax withdrawals are not accepted. Students who withdraw unofficially are still responsible for all tuition and fees.
