Anemone Thomas is responsible for developing and managing the MBA with Internship program . This involves marketing the course internationally, guiding prospective students and liaising with the companies offering internships. i.e. identifying suitable employers and matching employers and students.
Anemone holds a licence in political science and international relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She also studied Mandarin for two years. Her journey took her to a number of countries besides Germany and Switzerland. She lived in Taiwan and Australia and moved to Luxembourg 20 years ago.
She started her career in International and European relations in Bonn where she worked for the headquarters of the German Red Cross and as an assistant to a member of the European Parliament. Whilst in Asia she focused on newcomer orientation and cross-cultural training but upon her return to Europe her emphasis shifted back to international relations. At the Institute for European and International studies in Luxembourg she was the head of publication and planning which involved organizing conferences in Italy, Russia and China. She has been with Sacred Heart since 2012 when the MBA with Internship was newly created. She is married and her three children are scattered in different directions, having all embarked on their own professional careers.
