Our host James Monnat, MBA is spearheading the start-up eco-system across Luxembourg, offering local entrepreneurs a space that goes beyond the services incubators currently offer. James Monnat, MBA, CEO of MasonBower and founder of Foundry Luxembourg offers a space for collaboration, a space where starts-up can grow and nurture each other by collaborating to fill the gaps in their businesses.

Join James Monnat, MBA for a fireside chat about his journey so far and the fundamental tools required for success in the fast paced world of business. The session will be followed conversation with Prof. Marcus Müller Ph.D., about the fundamentals for successful management. The session with be followed by a Q&A session with both James Monnat, MBA and Prof. Marcus Müller Ph.D., Professor of Management at the Jack Welch College of Business and networking cocktail.

Foundry is a unique community, working space and business support program in the heart of Luxembourg. A place where people with ideas work alongside those who can make them happen. The Foundry community of businesses and creatives all work together under the same roof to convert ideas into operational businesses, forming an ecosystem for innovation.

Foundry is also a program combining MasonBower expertise with all complementary services from Luxembourg and Europe needed to convert an idea into an operational business. We will bring together all the necessary business and creative resources against a rigorous go-to-market process.

Ideas submitted for the Foundry Program are selected by the Foundry Committee based on the respective business case. The Committee consists of experts from different areas of the Luxembourg ecosystem: financing, private and public support, operations and market strategy. Once the idea is accepted into the program, MasonBower will work together with the idea owners to make their ambitions happen, tapping into the rich pool of resources, connections and talent that Luxembourg has to offer to make them real.

Through the Foundry Program, MasonBower can help turn dreams into reality by bringing the most amazing ideas out where they should be: in the market.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you choose to confirm your registration now, you will not be committed to the cost of the trip until the deadline has lapsed and we’ve received all registrations. If at that point we do not have enough participants, you will not be bound or required to pay for anything.

The stated cost of €3,500 is APPROXIMATE. The final cost will depend on the number of participants registered, therefore I do not have the power to limit the expense of the trip to 3,500 EUR per person. The costs are determined by the travel company we work with. If there are not 15 participants, then the fees will increase. If that is the case, all registered participants will be notified and given the option to withdraw their participation at no charge.

All registered participants will be asked to pay a €1,000 deposit AFTER November 30 to confirm their participation. Final invoices will be sent out 2-3 months prior to the departure date. The final invoice will include all transportation costs mentioned in the info sheet, visa application processing fees (if any), hotel bookings, breakfast, cultural attractions and tour guides, etc. We ask that each individual’s fees be paid in full prior to our departure.

If the enrollment numbers at below 10 participants, we will most likely be forced to cancel the study trip for this academic year and try again next year.
