The 2017 “Cyber Talent Day” provides a comprehensive overview of opportunities for career optimization and career development in the digital area.
Hear From the Experts. Listen to experts from major employers in the Greater Region on what it means to have a career in the digital area, the paths they followed, and how to build your digital career.
Luxembourg Institute for Digital Training (LIDIT) LIDIT will host the event during the 2017 CyberSecurity Week as part of the “Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition Luxembourg”.
Cybersecurity Week Cybersecurity is among the greatest challenges of the digital economy, increasingly emerging every day as a field with high potential in terms of new skills, jobs and growth.
The Grand Duchy has been considering this area as an opportunity for economic growth for over 15 years, a view further highlighted in the governmental Digital Lëtzebuerg initiative, as well as the announcement, in October 2016, of a competence centre on cybersecurity.
Building on this momentum, five players are gathering today to create the Cybersecurity Week-Luxembourg in the framework of the European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM), an annual advocacy campaign organised by the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) and the European Commission to promote cybersecurity internationally.
This first edition will be carried out by the Ministry of Economy, the national platform for the promotion of cybersecurity SECURITYMADEIN.LU, Luxinnovation, Excellium and PwC Luxembourg, in partnership with the Luxembourg Institute for Digital Training (LIDIT), coordinator of the Digital Skills Coalition Lëtzebuerg.
The Cybersecurity Week – Luxembourg (#luxsecurityweek) will allow participants to:
- Make the most of existing synergies in the Grand Duchy and further contribute to the development of initiatives carried out by public and private actors in cybersecurity;
- Increase opportunities at national and international levels to attract start-ups, talent and investors, thus positioning Luxembourg as a key European player in cybersecurity.
Don’t miss out on this networking opportunity to make the right contacts and find your potential new employer.
