Guy Ertz has more than 20 years of experience in economic and financial analysis, as well as portfolio management. He is chief investment advisor at BNP Paribas Wealth Management, leading a team of investment specialists and serving on the international investment policy committee. He also teaches courses on portfolio management within the bank and for clients.
His professional experiences include economic forecasting, bond and equity valuation, portfolio management, alternative investments and risk management.
Guy holds a Ph.D. degree in economics from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) in Belgium. He spent one year of his Ph.D. program at the University of Minnesota thanks to a Fulbright scholarship. He has been teaching courses in economics and finance at the graduate and undergraduate level in several programs since 1998, and has published a large number of research and press articles. He has completed several management trainings (for example IMD Lausanne and Vlerick Business School in Gent) and participated in the 38th edition of the CFA Annual Management Workshop at Harvard Business School in 2006.
