Karin Schintgen is the founder and CEO of House of Start-Ups, an innovation hub, business accelerator, incubator, and startup consulting service launched by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. She previously served as the founder and CEO of startup incubator Lux Future Lab.
Prior to her career in innovation management, Karin worked in banking, media and public affairs. She set up Luxembourg’s first futures & options trading desk and the first dedicated bank department for social corporate responsibility. She was also the Director of Corporate Communication for RTL Group.
Karin has an international education in law and finance, graduating with a Master of Laws from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where she was a Fulbright Scholar and Fellow of the Centre for Study of Financial Institutions. She also holds a Post Graduate Degree in Political Sciences (International Law) from the Graduate Institute for International Studies at the University of Geneva.
Karin is a Member of the Board of Prairial, a Luxembourg Foundation investing in Social Enterprises, as well as Co-Founder & Member of the Board of Directors for microlux S.A. Luxembourg.
